We’ve been fortunate to receive support from the Canada Council for the Arts—for now! With public funding for the arts facing major cuts, we’re learning to adapt. Our concerts continue to be sustained by donations, but what’s rarely shared is that even a small concert of just three musicians can cost up to $5,000 in professional fees. We’re also working to build a reserve fund to ensure the ensemble’s future.
